Roles and Responsibilities:
- Analyzing user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility.
- Analyzing test results on user impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
- Execute all levels of testing (Integration, System and Regression).
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team.
- Interacting with clients/product development team to understand product requirements.
- Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
- Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Provide all relevant support and documentation.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or similar discipline.
- 2-5 years of experience as a Software Tester, with strong understanding of fundamentals.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- ISTQB certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
- Experience in testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Experience in Application performance testing
- Export the test result in html file or MS Excel file
- Good time-management skills, interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexible, reliable team-oriented work ethic and MUST have a positive CAN DO personality.
- Must have worked in at least one live project from design to delivery stage.
